GM on Corvette ZR1 cancellation rumor: “Not true.”

The rumormill is a queer thing, and sometimes it crapper separate amok. This appears to be digit of those times. The DigitalCorvettes.com installation posted a state early this daytime locution that Corvette ZR1 creation has been halted (Bowling Green is closed downbound this week, so no Vettes are existence shapely at the moment) and suggesting that the ZR1 haw be cancelled. A place on moneyman Rick “Corvette” Conti’s blog, linked in the referenced DigitalCorvettes thread, additional to the intrigue.

Autoblog has contacted GM’s Terry Rhadigan, who handles orbicular subject for the Chevrolet brand. We presented the DigitalCorvettes unification and asked for an authorised response. His was rattling clear:

“Not true.”
