Ford recalls more than 655,000 trucks over hose issue

Washington, 15 May 2008: Ford Motor Co. is recalling more than 6,55,000 Ford F-150 and attorney Mark LT restorative trucks to mend a tubing that could change the vehicles’ braking power.
According to a bill today, on the website of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the maker is supply the request of 2005-2006 versions of the trucks with 5.4 litre 3-valve engines.
According to Ford spokesman Wes Sherwood, more than 6,00,000 of the trucks are in the United States and most 50,000 are in Canada. About 1,500 are in another countries around the world.
Ford says there hit been 11 secondary accidents and no injuries equal to the issue.
Dealers module change the tubing at no calculate to consumers. Owners are due to be notified in New June, and the request is due to begin in July.
