New Delhi, 28 March 2008: Following the start of the newborn Swift DZiRE sedan, Maruti Suzuki Bharat Limited (MSIL) has signalled the start of added diminutive automobile – A Star – this assemblage itself, in the A2 segment. As expressed by a company official, MSIL module be launching the ’A Star’ from its Manesar existence at Haryana in Oct this year.
According to Mr.M M Singh, Managing Executive Officer (Production), the A Star would expand Maruti’s A2 portfolio along with another models same WagonR and Zen Estilo.
The automobile would be exported to the dweller countries in constituent to the husbandly market.
The ‘A Star Concept’ was displayed by Maruti Suzuki at the fresh held metropolis Auto Expo.
The company, which currently holds 55% husbandly mart share, launched the Swift DZire, the newborn entry take litter automobile from the Maruti stable, digit life back.
Swift Dzire was existence manufactured at the Manesar plant, and was existence fashioned and matured by engineers in India.
In the terminal 11 months, Maruti oversubscribed 41,800 units in the husbandly market.
